Demonstration for increased minority hiring is held at the Trailways Bus Terminal.

Members of the Boston Congress of Racial Equality picket the bus terminal at 10 Saint James Avenue to protest the lack of minority hiring. The demonstration takes place during the time that foreign visitors are attending a UNESCO conference on African Affairs in Boston to show that racial problems also exist in this country and this city.
